Electrical Engineer required for our business, a leading and innovative company in the renewable energy sector, dedicated to providing sustainable solutions for both domestic and commercial projects across the UK. 

We specialize in Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps, Solar Assisted Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage & EV Chargers and are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team.

 You will be covering works across Scotland, and may sometimes be required to stay away, so being happy with travel is a necessity.  

Electrical Engineer Position Overview

As an Electrical Engineer in the Renewable Energy industry, you will be an integral part of the technical team, contributing to the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems within renewable energy projects. You will also be required to perform installs, maintenance tasks, trouble shooting and to read schematics. 

Your expertise will play a key role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our renewable energy assets, with a focus on commercial and residential projects, ranging from 3kWp to 500kWp on average with a mix of roof and ground mounted systems. 

Electrical Engineer Position Requirements

•  Degree in Electrical Engineering 
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• BPEC for solar and battery
• 18th edition and electrical qualification
• Proven experience in electrical design within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on small commercial and residential projects.
• Experience with solar PV, battery storage, heat pump controls and EV chargers
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence

Electrical Engineer Position Remuneration

•  £35,000 - £50,000 DOE
• Monday – Friday (40-hour week)
• Allowances for stay away
• Pension 
• 28 Days Holiday
• Company Van & Fuel Card for business use
• Company iPad & Phone
